This is an interesting take on the retro style shirt which seems to come back into fashion every now and again. For their centenary Atletico have gone for the traditional lace up collar and their old style badge. I like the simplicity of the shirt although I suspect that the original shirt ion 1908 didn't have FIAT sponsorship on it. Normally the lace up collar results in loose ends of lace flailing about and hitting you in the eye when you run but Lotto have cleverly made the laces an enclosed unit giving the retro look without the usual drawbacks. As usual with Brazilian shirts, my thanks are due to my friend Bira for sending this lovely little rarity.
