I had been after a Mineiro shirt for ages due to the black and white stripes thing and eventually got this one from Bira, my Brazilian collecting colleague. The shirt itself is a very respectable effort from Diadora who have used just enough gold trim without making the shirt look like something Liberace would wear. "Galo" is the team's nickname and means "rooster" which is shown on the back of the shirt.  Great shirt and a valued addition to the collection.
