Football was for a long time something of a poor relation in Australia behind Aussie rules, both rugby codes and even cricket for god's sake! In recent times however football has become much more prominent in Oz. Adelaide City have, with eminent good taste not always associated with Australians, chosen to go with black and white stripes for their home colours. I'm quite fond of the zebra on the club badge although I think the club have rebranded themselves and changed their badge from this one.
