Corinthians are yet another club from Brazil who started out as a general sports club and specifically a rowing club thus the nautical paraphernalia on the club badge. The club's home shirt is always white and the away shirt is traditionally black and white stripes. Interestingly these are the same club colours as Sao Paulo city rivals, Santos. I like this shirt a lot as it shows a real increase in quality in South American shirts in the late 1990s. My friend and fellow collector in Sao Paulo, Bira, is a big Corinthians fan but strangely enough I didn't get this shirt from him but from www.awaykit.com
