Flamengo famously play in red and black hoops and given that, I suspect this is an away shirt. I'm especially impressed by the well rendered intricate Flamengo badge on the chest. The shirt dates back to the time when Brazilian striker Romario played for Flamengo. Romario, a sublimely gifted but at times temperamental striker,  always wore the number 11 shirt and as such this is a a valued addition to the collection, an addition which I am indebted to my good friend Bira for.
