Apparently India qualified for a World Cup once but couldn't go to the tournament because they played in bare feet. I don't know if it's true or apocryphal but it's a good story anyway.  this shirt was made by Sapphire sports who at one time made shirt for India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. It seems that Sapphire deliberately make shirts which look like fakes.
