Until George Weah came onto the scene Liberia was just a flag of convenience for shipping companies to sail under. When Weah was at his height he was the leading African footballer in the world. Diadora did a very good job on this jersey with excellent badgework even if the design is a little "glam rock". The jersey also carries the number 9 and Weah (who else) on the back. I accidentally left this jersey on a train the day I bought it and ended up having to drive down to the coast to collect it again.
