Mogi Mirim play in the lower echelons of Brazil's infinitely complicated leagues and are from Sao Paulo state. My friend in Brazil, Bira informs that one of this clubs former alumni was the great  Rivaldo, he of Barca, Deportivo La Corruna and Olympiakos. Interesting fact about the club is that the stadium is named after Pope John Paul II. Previously to the old Polish goalie dying the stadium had been named after the club's club president and the clubs mascot is a big frog!
