I am indebted to Norrie, who is a good guy despite being a Man United fan for giving me this shirt for the collection. It is a match worn relic from what I suspect was Macc Town's first season in the football league back in 1997. I've never seen a Super League shirt used by any other team than Macclesfield Town. The shirt looks almost antiquated now with only one sponsor and no player names on the back. The white background around the crest on the badge is a nice touch and gives the shirt something of a retro feel.
