River Plate are normally associated with the more illustrious Argentinian club but the Uruguayan side are just as entitled to use the name given Montevideo's proximity to the river itself. Normally I don't bother with goalkeeper shirts but given the cool badge, unusual manufacturer and classic design I happily accepted the offer of this short from my good friend Bira in sunny Sao Paulo. MGR sports have done a good job on the shirt although the badge work could do with a bit of an upgrade.
