I am reliably informed by a Mexican chap that if you refer to UAG or Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara nobody knows what team you are on about. If you call them "Tecos" on the other hand Mexican will know  exactly what you're on about. I have to say that Sheffield Wednesday should hang their heads in shame. If you're nickname is the Owls you should have at least on 8 inch high owl somewhere on the shirt. I assume (but don't know for sure) that Tecos is Spanish for Owls. this is a very good shirt and a good example of Atletica's solid work in the mid 2000s.
