I'm
not, as a general rule, a big fan of Chelsea shirts but this one is worth it's
place in the museum based on it's rarity as I haven't noticed Adidas using this
design anywhere else. What looks like a plain white shirt at first glance
is actually subtly striped with a grey wavy line. It also carries the name and
number of Ghanaian midfield powerhouse Michael Essien. Essien is the archetypal
modern player and a real all round midfielder although he can occasionally throw
in the odd atrocious tackle.
