There can't be many clubs in the world named after deposed former royalty, especially in modern republics like Brazil but this club have such a name. Dom Pedro II was the last Emperor of Brazil and seems to be regarded as something of a father figure by the country. Bira, who you won't be surprised to read supplied me with the shirt informs me that the club is nicknamed the Fireman's team because of close links to the Brazilian fire service. The shirt itself is decent quality and only let down by the printed badge.
