I have some very unusual and interesting shirts from South America and that is largely due to fellow collectors and good friends from that continent like my friend from Ecuador, Fausto. Fausto clearly has some very impressive connections across Latin America due to his links with Deportivo Cuenca and this is shown through him sending this fascinating shirt from Estudiantes De Medicina of Ica, Peru.  The club have in recent times been somewhat of a controversial side having changed their home city and tried to merge with  Atletico Grau (under the name (Grau-Estudiantes) This was done in a vain hope of avoiding relegation and was ultimately unsuccessful after the club withdrew from the league. They are now back playing in Ica as far as I know with a slightly different badge.
