Greece won Euro 2004 but won almost no friends with their less than attractive football. The team, true to form, failed to qualify for the 2006 World Cup which is something of a Greek Tragedy as it meant that this stunning shirt wasn't widely seen. It's a pretty basic Adidas 2006 shirt but for reasons I don't really understand they've put the interwoven lines on the right hand side. I'm glad they did as it brightens up an otherwise standard shirt. This was also the first time I'm aware of that Greece played in white as a home colour rather than the traditional blue.
