The only thing anyone knows about Hartlepool is that he people of the town once executed a monkey (by hanging) because they thought it was a French spy. I don't know if it's true but I do know that the team are known as "The Monkeyhangers" and the club mascot, a man in a monkey suit, was elected mayor. I also know that natives of Hartlepool get sick of the whole monkeyhanger thing. Not a bad jersey at all this one and kudos to TFG. The name and number on the shirt is that of Graeme Lee, a defender and part time striker who played for the club up until 2003.
