I like to think I'm fairly well informed about World football and European football in particular but I have to confess that I don't know too much about Kristall Smolensk. Anton has conjured up this fantastic shirt from Western Russia's lower leagues. I don't know for sure but I have my suspicions that the club have some close ties to the "Kristall" diamond firm from Russia given the similarity of name and of course the big diamond on the club badge. I suppose that quite literally makes this one a real "gem".
