I'd always wanted a PNE shirt for the collection as the are a very historic club. The were founder members of the English league and won the inaugural season meaning that PNE can, if they want, always wear their home colours and make the opposition wear their away colours. This shirt was worn by Scottish striker Joe O'Neill. Preston's nickname is the Lilywhites which, while it may reek of heritage doesn't exactly inspire fear in the opposition does it?
