Nike are not my favourite manufacturer however they have done a sterling job here with this very fine shirt. The return to red as a colour makes them look much more like Russia than a blue shirt ever did. The shirt is a reminder of the great Russian side of euro 2008 when players like Arshavin, Pavlyuchenko and Zhirkov entertained us all, gave the Dutch a night to forget and eventually lost out to the winners. Ironically almost as soon as the tournament was over Russia changed supplier to Adidas. I must say спасибо to my good friend Anton for this amazing shirt.
